SlidersFC

The guide

What goes into a set

A slider set is a bunch of numbers, and numbers alone are no use to anyone. This is everything you can say about a set here, field by field, and why each one matters. Almost nothing is required — the more you fill in, the more useful it is to whoever takes it.

Required

The basics

Title

What shows up in the list and what gets shared. It's the only thing that's really required, along with the game. A good title already says who it's for: "Full manual · Legendary · 8 min" makes sense without opening it.

Game

FC 27 or FC 26. It can't be changed after the set is created, because the values hang off that game's slider list, and the two lists aren't the same. If you want to bring a set to the new game, its page has a button that copies it and matches whatever fits.

Description

What the set is for and how the match plays with it. Also the controls you use: manual or assisted changes the outcome as much as any slider.

Draft or published

A draft is only visible to you. It's for fine-tuning without anyone seeing it half-done, and for comparing it against another while you work on it.

Optional, but the one that's missed the most

How you play it

The same values on another difficulty don't produce the same match. Without this, whoever copies your set doesn't know if it'll work for them.

Difficulty

The game's six: Beginner, Semi-Pro, Professional, World Class, Legendary, Ultimate. It's what changes the CPU's behaviour the most, well above any single slider.

Half length

In minutes. You can enter a range if you play with one —7-8— because a lot of people don't always play the same one. Half length drives the pace: values tuned for 6 minutes fall apart at 15.

Camera

The name and, if you adjust them, its height and zoom — both run from 0 to 20. The field suggests the game's own (Co-op, Tele Broadcast, Tele, Broadcast…) but takes anything, because every menu names them its own way. The only thing asked is that if you set a height or zoom, you say which camera — loose numbers on their own say nothing.

The bulk of the set

The values

FC 27 has 65 sliders and FC 26 has 29. They come out in the exact order of the game's menu, so you can enter them while checking it.

How to read it
  • User
  • CPU
  • Speed3535
  • Finesse Shot Error6265
  • Line Height5858

The gray mark is the game's factory preset. When your notch covers it, that slider is untouched; when it moves away, that's where you've made a change. In the first row, all three line up.

Sides

Almost every slider comes in a pair: what applies to your team and what applies to the CPU. A few are yours alone, like the power bar, and show a dash on the CPU side.

The four master sliders

In FC 27, above shooting and passing there are four sliders that scale the whole group. The game asks you to leave them at 50 and only touch the ones for each type — move them and your values stop meaning the same thing on another console, so they're saved like any other.

Paste a written set

Instead of typing 129 values by hand, you can paste the text as you have it: a Notion table, a message, a bulleted list. Before anything is applied, you see what it understood and which lines it didn't recognize.

FC 27 only

CPU behaviour

FC 27 lets you choose how the CPU behaves, and only in one of the three modes do the sliders on that tab do anything.

  • TacticalThe CPU adjusts on its own to the team it's facing. It's what the game ships with.
  • DynamicThe CPU adjusts on its own and also shifts as the match goes on.
  • CustomYou set the values on this tab. It's the only case where they're used.

Pick tactical or dynamic and those sixteen sliders disappear from the page: showing them would claim your set touches things it doesn't. Your values aren't erased — they come back when you switch to custom.

What the community adds

Value-by-value comments

Every number opens its own thread. That's the whole point of this: not "nice set," but "that 35 speed feels too low for me against second-tier teams." The comment lives right next to the value it talks about.

General comments

For anything that isn't about one specific value, right at the bottom.

Versions

If you change values on a set that's already published, earlier comments get marked as belonging to the old version. No one's left replying to numbers that aren't there anymore.

Nothing to fill in

What happens automatically

The address

/u/your-name/the-set-title, generated from the title. It doesn't change even if you change the title afterward, so a shared link never breaks. And if you change your username, the old one still leads to the same place.

The share image

Paste the link into WhatsApp or X and a card with the values drawn out shows up, not an empty box. It's generated on its own from the set's content.

Console mode

A separate view, big type, values in the same order as the game's menu — built to hold in one hand while you enter them. It marks off what you've already done and keeps the screen from sleeping.
